Angel and Knight love story — to create peace.
There are no guardian angels.
She decides to watch over the knight because of the first interaction on the battlefield where he catches her interest with his passion over his slain comrades. Overtime she falls in love with him.

They are not supposed to be together because angels are not allowed to leave heaven unless for missions. She breaks these rules of course.
God doesn’t find out for a while because he and the angels do not interfere greatly with paying attention to what is going on as This God has given up on humanity that is claimed to be doomed to war.
